On 9 July 2025 our partners Federico Caruso and Mario Pozzi are to deliver a lecture on Artificial Intelligence and Intellectual Property as part of the LUISS Business School Summer Intensive Program on Artificial Intelligence and Business Opportunities.

The session will begin with an overview of the concept of intellectual property and its evolving significance in the digital era. It will then address the main tools of intellectual property protection—namely patents, trademarks, designs, copyrights, and trade secrets—and their relevance in the context of AI.

Given the rapid development of AI technologies and their increasing impact across industries, it is essential that future business leaders develop an understanding of both the opportunities and potential risks associated with intellectual property in this domain.
