Federico Caruso speaker at Macfrut on protecting varietal innovation as a guarantee on investment
Our Federico Caruso along with Valentina Predazzi and Gioia Perucci of SIB Società Italiana Brevetti are to attend Macfrut, the international trade fair for the fruit and vegetable supply chain, taking place at the Expo Centre in Rimini, Italy, 21-23 April 2026.
On April 21, Federico will give a presentation entitled “The Importance of Varietal Innovation for Competitive European Agriculture: Intellectual Property as a Guarantee of Investment” during the workshop “Patent Protection of Plant Innovations: Limits, Exceptions, Exploitation, and Coexistence with Plant Variety Protection” organized by Assosementi – Associazione Italiana Sementieri e Vivaisti.
Federico, Valentina and Gioia are experts in protecting and defending intellectual property rights on innovations in the areas of plant varieties and life sciences, and will be in Rimini to meet with companies interested in protecting their intellectual property rights effectively and strategically.
